We’re a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church family committed to following Jesus, loving our neighbors, and serving our community. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re exploring faith for the very first time, you belong here.

Our name is rooted in the book of Acts — where the earliest believers were simply called followers of The Way. That’s still our identity today: a community walking together as we follow Jesus step by step.

What You Can Expect.

Visiting a church for the first time can feel overwhelming. We get it. That’s why we do everything we can to make your first Sunday simple, welcoming, and meaningful.

A Warm Welcome

When you arrive, come through the middle double doors under the steeple. Friendly greeters will meet you in the foyer, answer any questions, and help you find your way around.
Arrive early or stay afterward to enjoy coffee, cookies, and pastries, and meet a few new faces.

A 10:00 AM Worship Experience for Everyone

Our service blends the best of newer worship songs and timeless hymns, creating a family-style, multi-generational experience that speaks to every age and background.

During the service, you can expect:

  • A few songs

  • Prayer

  • A practical, hope-filled message from Pastor Cal Vandivier

  • A brief time of offering (no pressure for guests)

  • Another moment of worship
    The entire service lasts about one hour.

What to Wear

Come as you are. Suits, jeans, dresses, flip-flops — it all works here. We believe worship comes from the heart, not the wardrobe.

What About My Kids?

We offer two hours of kids’ ministry every Sunday!

  • Nursery (Birth–VPK) — directly beside the worship center.

  • Kids Small Groups (K–5th) — 8:30 AM

  • Kids Worship (K–5th) — 10:00 AM

All children’s activities take place in our safe and secure Kids Way wing, staffed by trained, background-checked volunteers who love kids and love Jesus.

Meet Pastor Cal Vandivier

Pastor Cal often says that the people of The Way United Methodist Church are the best — a living expression of the early church in the book of Acts, walking together as followers of The Way.

Led by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Cal shares messages of hope each week, helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus through clear, practical teaching. His heart for ministry is simple and powerful:

We believe worship is the heartbeat of our church.
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM, we gather to lift our spirits, strengthen our faith, and encounter the presence of God together. Our worship blends contemporary songs with classic hymns, honoring our rich heritage while speaking to today’s generation.
